FOS’ core product eliminates oil and gas spills (as well as neutralizes fumes immediately). It attacks and encapsulates hydrocarbons, rather than dispersing them. It doesn’t disguise them. Unlike oil and gas dispersants, it doesn’t simply disperse them. It doesn’t make them “disappear” by moving them to another place (such as a sea bed), where the environment and wildlife would be endangered. Our product “encapsulates” oil and gas into trillions of microscopic droplets (15 microns), harmless particles that are quickly eaten by Earth’s natural bacteria – which begins within seconds of application, accelerating nature’s biodegradation process a thousand-fold.

Contrary to sinking agents, FOS products forces the encapsulated droplets to remain buoyant and float on the surface of the water where the necessary oxygen is available for biodegradation to take place and the ability to attract and deceive bacteria, which do not normally consume hydrocarbons into partaking in the biodegradation process.

It is the only quick, nontoxic, microencapsulated, oil/gas-elimination product in the world, and is patented in the United States and multiple countries worldwide.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
The product has the added benefit of being completely consonant with the environment. It is made from natural formulations and is nontoxic to all animals, including fish, birds, other wildlife and humans. It can (and should) be used to remove oil or gas from wildlife, seashores, sea beds, sea surfaces, all fresh-water basins, equipment, all surfaces – and degrade the oil or gas into natural matter that is in perfect alignment again with the surrounding environment. Any corporation or government agency using the product can emphasize to the media, the public and other government agencies the non-toxicity and environmental friendliness of the PES product.
